Issue:
On certain snowmobiles equipped with an 850 E-TEC engine, the fuel hose connections could wear and leak fuel.
Safety Risk:
Leaking fuel in the presence of an ignition source could increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
BRP will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their snowmobile to a dealer to replace the engine control module (ECM) lower fuel hose. BRP advises owners not to drive their snowmobile until it is repaired. Note: This is an expansion of recall 2019-162.
