Issue
On certain motorhomes, the slide-out mechanisms may activate on their own and cause the slide room to extend or retract without warning. This could happen while the motorhome is stopped or in motion.
Safety risk
If a slide-out room moves suddenly and without warning, it could create a risk of injury or a crash.
Corrective actions
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their motorhome to a dealer to install a new controller and switch for the slide-out mechanism.
