On certain fifth wheel trailers, the furnace exhaust vent may be missing.
Safety Risk:
If the furnace is operated without an exhaust vent, it could allow carbon monoxide to enter the trailer. This could result in asphyxiation or carbon monoxide poisoning.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealer to inspect for a furnace exhaust vent. A vent will be installed if it is missing.
