Issue: There may be a small hole in the main floor of certain vehicles due to an incorrect weld. This could allow water to enter the right-side foot well and come in contact with wiring. As a result, an engine stall, a loss of lighting and/or a loss windshield wiper function may occur. Safety Risk: A loss of engine power, loss of lighting and/or loss of windshield wipers could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the vehicle’s floor. It will be sealed as necessary.
