Issue
On certain trailers, the floor supports under the horse area could break. This could allow the supports to detach and contact the axles or suspension.
Safety risk
Trailer floor supports that detach could affect vehicle handling and stability, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective actions
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their trailer to a dealership to have the aluminum floor support beams inspected and replaced as necessary. An additional structure will also be added.
