Issue: Certain aerial devices could be operated when the rear outriggers are not deployed. Operating an aerial device without all outriggers deployed could cause the unit to be unstable. Safety Risk: Operating an unstable aerial device could create a risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Altec Industries will notify owners by mail and instruct them to inspect their unit for proper operation. If the unit does not pass, the company will provide a new wiring harness along with installation instructions.
