Issue:
On certain vehicles, the driver and passenger head airbags (side curtain airbags) may not have been installed correctly. This could cause them to not deploy properly in a crash.
Safety Risk:
Side curtain airbags that do not deploy properly in a crash could increase the risk of an injury.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to ensure that the head airbags are installed properly.
