Issue

Issue:
The compliance label on certain travel trailers lists incorrect information. The label incorrectly lists 5,100 lb. (2,313 kg) rated front and rear axles, ST225/75R15/E tires, 15X6.0JJ Rims, and 80 PSI, when it should list 6,000 lb. (2,721 kg) rated front and rear axles, ST235/80R16/E tires, 16X6.0J Rims, and 80 PSI. This could lead to overloading of the trailer and cause poor handling or a tire failure.

Safety Risk:
Poor handling or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.

Corrective Actions:
A new compliance label will be mailed to each owner. If an owner is not comfortable installing the label, a Forest River dealer can install it.
