Issue:
Certain Silverado LD and Sierra LD truck bed-covers could come loose while driving and detach from the truck. This problem affects tri-fold tonneau covers that were factory ordered or sold as an accessory.
Safety Risk:
A tonneau cover that separates from a moving vehicle could create a hazard for other drivers and nearby people.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and provide improved attachments for the tonneau cover.
