The occupant restraint controller (ORC) may be programmed incorrectly. This could cause some safety features such as airbags and seat belt pretensioners not to function as intended in a crash.
Safety Risk:
Safety features that do not function as intended in a crash could create an increased risk of injuries.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the ORC software.
