Issue:
On certain motorhomes, the dash blower motor does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat.
Safety Risk:
Wiring that overheats could create a risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorhome to a dealer to install a fuse for the dash blower. A 25 ampere fuse will be installed in position 23 in the power distribution box. Dealers will also install a label in the fuse box noting "Fuse Position 23 Max. 25 A".
