Issue:
On certain fifth-wheel trailers, the slide mechanisms for the kitchen and/or dinette may contact a tire. This could cause damage to the tire and result in a tire failure.
Safety Risk:
A tire failure could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer for repairs. The kitchen slide room adjustment bolt, and the dinette slide room adjustment mechanism will be replaced. The tires should also be inspected for damage and replaced as required.
