Transport Canada Recall - 2019133 - LION BUS

Issue:
The rear exit door could be locked using something other than the lock that is provided with the bus. As a result, a driver may not get a warning when the emergency exit is locked. This type of warning is required under Canadian regulations.

Safety Risk:
A locked emergency exit could prevent passengers from leaving the bus in emergency. This could create a risk of injury.

Corrective Actions:
The company will notify all owners by mail and send them a repair kit to prevent the emergency exits from being locked with anything other than the originally supplied lock.
