Issue:
On certain fifth-wheel trailers, the power awning does not have proper fuse protection. As a result, an electrical overload or short circuit could cause the wiring to overheat.
Safety Risk:
If the wiring overheats, there could be an increased risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have a fuse holder and 5-A fuse installed in the power awning circuit.
