Issue
Issue:
The labels for the emergency exits may not be in the correct positions. Canadian regulations require companies to put emergency exit labels within 150 mm of the release mechanism.
Safety Risk:
Proper label placement can help to identify exits in an emergency. Small errors in label position are unlikely to be unsafe.
Corrective Action:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to inspect the emergency exit labels and measure to check if they are installed properly. The company will send replacement labels as required.
