Issue:
On certain vehicles, the fuel filler pipe may not have been properly connected to the fuel tank. This could result in a fuel leak.
Safety Risk:
Leaking fuel, in the presence of an ignition source, creates the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the fuel filler pipe inspected. If the fuel filler pipe is not properly connected, it will be replaced.
