Issue:
On certain Mule PRO-MX models, pressure in the fuel tank could cause the fuel cap gasket to move out of position when opened. If the fuel cap is put back on with the gasket out of place, it could tear and cause a fuel leak.
Safety Risk:
A fuel leak, in the presence of an ignition source, could increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective Actions:
The company will notify owners by mail. Owners will be instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer for replacement of the fuel cap gasket.
