Issue
On certain vehicles, the fasteners attaching the power steering assist cylinder bracket to the frame rail may not be properly installed. This could cause the cylinder to become loose and/or detach from the frame rail, which could result in a sudden, unexpected increase in steering effort. This could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect and re-secure the power steering assist cylinder bracket as necessary.
