Certain travel trailers may not comply with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations. The compliance label may bear a printing error within the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) information, incorrectly stating "2,313 kg" (5,100 lbs) instead of the correct “1,996 kg" (4,400 lbs). This could lead to premature tire failure and vehicle overloading, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Owners will be sent a revised certification label with instructions for proper placement. If owners are not comfortable installing the label themselves, they can take the label to a Highland Ridge dealer for installation.
