Transport Canada Recall - 2018034 - FORD

Certain vehicles may fail to conform to Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 118 - Power-Operated Window, Partition and Roof Panel Systems. The window electronic control module in the left and/or right second row rear door may have been manufactured incorrectly. As a result, the left and/or right second row power operated window may not automatically reverse when it encounters an obstruction while the window is closing, which is contrary to the requirements of the standard, and could increase the risk of injury. Correction: Dealers will inspect the build date code on the second row electronic control modules, and replace as necessary.
