Transport Canada Recall - 2017487 - SUBARU

On certain vehicles equipped with a factory installed subwoofer located inside the trunk, luggage in the trunk could come into contact the subwoofer wire and move the wire out of its normal position. This could damage the integrated circuit in the subwoofer amplifier and could create a continuous electrical current, resulting in the subwoofer overheating, and would increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect, and repair as necessary.
