Issue
On certain vehicles, the low pressure fuel pump resistor could potentially fail. if this occurs, the low pressure fuel pump would stop working, causing the engine to stall potentially while the vehicle is in motion, resulting in loss of motive power which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel pump resistor cable assembly with a new and updated part.
