Transport Canada Recall - 2016402 - FOREST RIVER

On certain travel trailers, there may be insufficient space between the slideroom driveshaft and the trailer’s driver’s side tires. If a tire continuously rubs against or repeatedly makes contact with the driveshaft, this may result in tire failure, which could increase the risk of loss of vehicle control and/or a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install a new gear pack that is smaller in size and a cross shaft that is narrower in width to allow for a sufficient distance between the tire inside wall and the slideroom driveshaft.
