Transport Canada Recall - 2016390 - HYUNDAI

On certain vehicles equipped with the optional 7 inch LCD instrument cluster, there could be communication errors between the Audio, Visual, and Navigation (AVN) head unit and cluster. This could lead to the following symptoms: All warning lights illuminating, inaccurate speedometer/tachometer readings, no cluster illumination, turn signal indicators not illuminating when turn signals are activated and possibly a momentarily inoperative instrument cluster. Incorrect (or loss of) readings, messages, and warning lights displayed by the instrument cluster could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the instrument cluster with updated software.
