Issue
On certain vehicles outfitted with the optional accessory cold weather PCV heater kit, the pipe heater wiring may chafe on a metal clamp. This could result in the PCV pipe heater wiring to interact with the clamp, which could lead to an electrical short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the PCV pipe heater with an improved component.
