Certain infant car seats do not meet the injury criterion limits established by the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 213.1. If a collision occurs, there is a potential risk of injury to a child occupant as this specific car seat and base combination does not appear to adequately protect the occupant. Correction: All registered owners with affected car seats will be provided instructions on how to obtain a repair kit consisting of a new base. Non-registered owners, or owners who have moved, should contact Graco Children's Products, at 1-800-345-4109 or service@gracobaby.ca to obtain a free repair kit or, if they have any questions. Consumers can also obtain information or register online for a free repair kit at: www.gracobaby.ca. Note: While consumers are awaiting their repair kit, it is recommended that the users install the car seat without using the base to reduce the risk of injury, in the event of a vehicle collision.
