Issue
Certain fire trucks built on Navistar chassis 4400, 7400 and 7600 could be operated with the manual master body power disconnect switch in the off position. If the operator forgets to turn the switch on, the vehicle could be operated without the body electrical components having power such as the rear tail lights, turn signals, marker lights, emergency sirens, and warning lights reducing vehicle conspicuity, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a relay to prevent the engine to start if the switch is not turned on.
