Issue
On certain vehicles, the inner tie rod attachment to the steering gear may not have been tightened to specification. With this condition, the tie rod can separate from the steering gear without warning, which could result in a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the entire steering gear assembly.
