Issue
On certain trailers, incorrect wheel bearings may have been installed, or the bearings may have been improperly installed by the supplier. This could result in bearing failure, potentially causing the wheel(s) to lock up or break away from the axle. A wheel separating from the vehicle could cause a loss of control and a crash. In addition, the wheel assembly could strike another vehicle, stationary object, or bystander. These issues could result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will inspect the trailer bearings and repair as necessary.
