Issue
On certain motorcycles, prolonged high-RPM operation could cause the air induction hose to melt, resulting in hot exhaust gases being directed at the fuel injection sub-wiring harness, which could melt the insulation and cause the wiring to short. If this were to occur, the fuel injection system would malfunction, which could result in an engine stall and could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will replace the air induction hose, air induction pipe and air induction cut-off valve with ones that meet the new specifications.
