Transport Canada Recall - 2014298 - REV RECREATION GROUP

Certain motorhomes may not comply with Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 209 - Seat Belt Assemblies. The driver and passenger front seat belt securing brackets may have been improperly installed, which could cause seat belts to be damaged over time and fail to meet the requirements of the standard. This could increase the risk of injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will inspect the seat belt attachment hardware and if necessary, reinstall the seat belts using new attachment hardware and a protective guard for the seat belt. In addition, the seat belt webbing of the affected seats will be inspected, and will be replaced if damage has resulted from an incorrect installation.
