Transport Canada Recall - 2013244 - ALTEC INDUSTRIES

On certain aerial devices installed on utility service vehicles (to elevate personnel in order to facilitate working on overhead service lines, for tree trimming, etc.), cracks may form between the pedestal and the unit sub-base. This could allow the aerial device to move unexpectedly or fall, which could result in property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Altec will notify owners, informing them to inspect the pedestal and to report the inspection results to Altec Technical Support for repair instructions.
