Issue
Certain units equipped with 400,000 BTU Alkota water heaters were not equipped with burner oil primary control. If the burner fails to ignite normally, fuel could accumulate in the burner combustion chamber, potentially resulting in a fire causing injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will install an updated burner.
