On certain tires, as a result of a manufacturing condition involving variation in the processing of one component, a defect may appear on the surface of the tire inner liner. This defect could lead to loss of air in the tire and if left undetected, the tires could be driven while underinflated. Driving a vehicle with under inflated tires increases the risk of a crash. Correction: The affected tires will be dismounted and inspected for the defect. Any tires that contain the defect will be replaced.
