Issue
On certain motorcycles, the throttle cable may contact, and chafe against, the upper edge of the radiator. A chafed cable may affect the throttle operation and could cause it to become inoperative or seize open. Should this occur while the motorcycle is in motion, it could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will secure the throttle cable to the frame.
