Issue

On certain vehicles, some Freedman double foldaway passenger's seats seat belts fail to comply with the strength requirement of the Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. In the event of a crash, the seat and seatbelt assembly may not restrain the occupant as intended and could result in personal injury or death. Correction: A steel plate will be added under the floor over the actual reinforcement seat support at the attachment point of the seat.
