Product description
This recall involves three styles of children's 90% cotton/10% polyester knit sweatshirts distributed by Tommy Hilfiger. The sweatshirts are sold in various colours and have "Hilfiger" or "Hilfiger College" printed on them.

Hazard identified
The sweatshirts do not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The sweatshirts could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a match, lighter, candle, stove element or spark from a fireplace and cause burns to consumers.
Neither Health Canada nor Tommy Hilfiger USA, Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these sweatshirts.
Number sold
Approximately 1,300 of the recalled products were sold at Tommy Hilfiger stores across Canada.
Approximately 400 of the recalled products were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from August 2009 to January 2010 at Tommy Hilfiger stores in Canada and the United States.
Place of origin
Manufactured in Indonesia.
