Toddler Hooded Kimono Robe by Bamboobino

Product description

This recall involves the Toddler Hooded Kimono Robe for children between 1 and 3 years of age by Bamboobino. The robe is 54 centimeters in length and is made of 70% rayon and 30% cotton. The robe has a small logo of a sleeping panda on the chest, closes with snap buttons, and comes with a bath mitt as a part of a set.

Hazard identified

Health Canada has established that this product does not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.

Loose-fitting children's sleepwear, including robes, can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more readily than tight-fitting sleepwear. When loose-fitting sleepwear is made with natural fibres such as cotton or rayon from bamboo, they can burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child's body.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries as related to the use of this robe.
