Product description
This recall involves Quick Shot Mini Glue Gun 10 W sold under the brand name "Time 4 Crafts" by CTG Brands Inc. The device is black with a red plastic tip and a red trigger. It can be identified by the model number TY-G1001 (GG600).
Hazard identified
The affected product has not been evaluated for safety against any Canadian standards and bears an unauthorized CUL (Canadian Underwriters Laboratories Inc.) mark. The product may pose safety hazards to users.
Neither CTG Brands Inc. nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 115,900 units of the affected glue guns were sold at various Dollar and discount stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected glue guns were sold from July 2007 to August 2011.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
