Product description
This recall involves the Three-Man Monodome Tent, Model 713, imported by Jarvis Sports Ltd. The camping tent is shaped like a dome with green walls, a yellow fly that covers the roof vent, white netting and grey flooring.
The recalled tent can be identified by the Model Number 713 and the UPC 774073713005.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's auditing process revealed that the materials used in this tent do not meet the requirements for tent flammability under Canadian law. The tent could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a campfire spark, and cause severe burns to consumers.
The tent also lacks accurate warnings required for flammable products. Inaccurate warnings may result in misuse of the product and lead to serious injury.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this tent.

Number sold
Approximately 1,200 of the recalled tents were sold at various Jarvis authorized dealers in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled tents were sold from April 2008 to February 2010.
