Ottawa, December 17, 2015 - Industry is recalling taramosalata products from the marketplace because they contain milk and sulphites which are not declared on the label. People with an allergy to milk or sensitivity to sulphites should not consume the recalled products described below.

The A V D Taramosalata may have been sold as is or in smaller packages and may not bear the same product name as described below. Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased affected products should check with their retailer.

What you should do

Check to see if you have recalled products in your home. Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.

If you have an allergy to milk or sensitivity to sulphites, do not consume the recalled products as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction.
