Product description
This recall involves "Tabac Original" Deodorant Spray by Prestilux Inc. The recalled spray is available in a 200mL reddish-brown aerosol pressurised container, and can be identified by the UPC 4011700410903.
Hazard identified
The product lacks the symbol and warnings required for potentially flammable and explosive products under Canadian law. This lack of labelling information could result in misuse of the product and lead to serious injury.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.
Number sold
Approximately 740 units of the recalled product were sold at various pharmacies and fragrance stores in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from March 2009 to August 2010.
