Syringe, Luer Lock/Slip, In Medline Convenience Kits

Specific item(s) and lot(s) of convenience kits containing syringes affected by the FDA safety communication issued on March 19, 2024 which identified potential issues with these products, including leaks, breakage, and other quality issues that may pose a risk to patient health. Syringes contained within the impacted kit(s) should not be used and should be discarded, except for circumstances where no alternative syringes are readily available. If these syringes must be used, closely monitor for leaks, breakage, and any other problems. All other components contained within the kits are safe and effective for use.
