Product description

This recall involves the Suki dining chair that comes in a natural sheesham wooden colour. The recalled product is identified by model number BT1021T.

Hazard identified

The dining chair can break when weight is placed on it, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

TJX Canada has received one report of a minor injury where the consumer sat on the chair and the back legs on the chair broke causing the consumer to fall backwards hitting their head. No medical attention was sought.

Health Canada has received no reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the Suki dining chair.

Number sold

Approximately 67 of the recalled chairs were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from October 2012 to November 2012.
