Affected products
This recall involves the StyleCraft Instinct Cordless Clipper with model number SC607M. The affected product is a cordless handheld hair cutting device with a vector motor and chargeable lithium-ion battery. Only certain lot numbers of the clipper are subject to the recall.

Issue
The chargeable lithium-ion battery can overheat, posing a burn hazard to the consumer.
As of June 4, 2024 the company has received no reports of lithium-ion battery overheating in Canada. In the United States, the company has received six reports of lithium-ion battery overheating and one report of minor injury.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact StyleCraft, LLC to arrange for a free battery replacement.
