Stokke ® YOYO³ stroller recalled due to injury hazard
Summary
Immediately stop using the recalled product and register at the Stokke recall portal to receive a return kit and to obtain a refund.
Affected products
This recall involves Stokke ® YOYO³ strollers. It is a Compact four-wheel stroller for children from age 0 months. It is available in either a black, or a black and white, frame. The wheels have a white reflective centre.
A seat, canopy, and storage compartment are sold separately and available in black, beige, stone, olive, taupe, toffee, ginger, Air France blue, or aqua.
Units affected by this issue are clearly marked with a serial number that begins with the sequence "142AA" followed by a number that falls below "0062239". The serial number with "AA" refers to one specific supplier.
Issue
The parking brakes on strollers with "142AA" in the serial number may disengage, posing an injury hazard.
As of November 7, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injury in Canada.
What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Stokke YOYO³ stroller and register at the Stokke recall portal to receive instructions for the return of the affected YOYO3 stroller and all its components. Once Stokke receives the return, a full refund will be issued.
