Product description
This recall involves Stohlquist child and infant PFDs with the lot numbers: 5001171, 5002171, and 5003171. The PFDs come in red or black with 6 shiny beads on the handle. The lot number can be found printed on the inside of the PFD.

Hazard identified
Beads attached to the handle of the PFD can break and pose as a choking hazard to young children.
As of May 16, 2017 the company has received one report of an incident in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 1,200 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

The recall product was sold from March 2017 to May 2017.

Consumers should immediately stop using their PFD and bring it to an authorized Stohlquist retailer for a replacement.
