Hazard identified
Health Canada’s sampling and evaluation program has determined that the recalled carpets do not meet the required flammability requirements for large indoor carpets.
Neither Health Canada nor Springs Canada, Inc. has received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of the product in Canada.
Number sold
Approximately 8,839 units of the recalled carpets were sold in Walmart locations throughout Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled carpets were sold between August, 2015 and June, 2016.
