Product description
The recall involves Spirit Halloween Spider Belly Baby and Spirit Halloween Puppy Belly Baby infant and toddler costumes, sized 18-24M and 2-4T. The products can be identified by SKU numbers 07126162, 07126170, 01301415, or 01301423.
Hazard identified
The eyes may detach from the costumes; these small parts may pose a choking hazard to young children.
Neither Health Canada nor Spirit Halloween has received reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of this product.

Number sold
Approximately 30 of the Puppy Belly Baby costumes and 24 of the Spider Belly Baby costumes were sold at Spirit Halloween stores across Canada and online.
Time period sold
The recalled costumes were sold from August to October 2016.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should not let their children wear the recalled costumes and either dispose of the product or return it to Spirit Halloween for a refund.
For more information, consumers may contact Spirit Halloween toll-free at 1-866-586-0155 between 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, EST, Monday to Friday or through the firm's website.
Please note that the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act prohibits recalled products from being redistributed, sold or even given away in Canada.
