Affected products
This recall involves certain Solvable low odour paint cleaner and thinner products (3.78 L, 53-314V) with batch numbers M24302, M24289, M24281, M24272, M24264. The affected products have the erroneous label shown above. The batch numbers are located on the upper right side on the back of the package.
Issue
The recalled products have been mislabelled with US versions of the product label instead of the correct Canadian labels. As a result, the recalled products do not have the proper consumer chemical labelling as required by the Consumer Chemical and Containers Regulations, 2001 under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act.
The lack of appropriate labelling information could result in unintentional exposure to the products and lead to serious illness or injury.
As of December 3, 2024, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to Recochem Inc. for a refund.
